My Comics: Unico Collections [Pt1]

Unico Comics have a few good projects completed and up for sale at the moment. To be honest they’ve not really been any stress in doing them from my part. It was even fun to work out the problems as they came in. But this Unico Collections will most probably have my hair turn grey sooner or later. The Collections is an unusual project for us because I’m not dealing with just Unico’s in house talent. Nope I have to chase around and keep happy FIVE brand new artists from across the UK.

They all seem a good bunch of people and happy to do the scripts they picked. The stress I’m talking about is making sure these five and the three Unico artists get the work done and keep in mind how much time they need for their real jobs, private lives and such like. Deadlines are tuff but what really has me white in the face is the finished product. All these people involved be it Writers or Artists will be looking to me to make sure the Comic is handled professionally and show them in the best light. After all they are banking on this comic to help them into the business if they chose that’s what they want.

The artwork and scripts I’m not worried about at all cause I know they’ll be top notch. It’s the people looking at me to take this to a new level and of course that one person waiting for me to fall on my arse (Long story, I may tell it another time).
