My Comics: Fracture [Pt 1]

I submitted a comic to Accent UK the other week after i was asked to write something for their future Blessed/Cursed range of comics. I wrote a little thing called Fracture but regretable it may have been a little bit to dark.

"Wow ... you youngsters really write such grim and gritty stories. I've had another script from someone that I found to be similar in that it was a little 'too real'. It's hard to explain what we're after but I guess we want stories with a little 'charm' ... hard to qualify really ... in your story I don't really get a feel for what it's really about ... what's the message being told ... I presume the abuse caused his ability to split ... I think you have the essence of a good story here .. it's just a bit to 'edgy' for AccentUK ... that's not to say that you couldn't develop it yourselves ... Colin and I have a feel for the types of stories that we want under the Accent UK logo/banner and they are more understated, maybe quirky little tales .. rather than your full on grim stories .. sorry this is coming out a bit obtuse ... I'm happy to discuss further to give you a feel for what I mean ... I think once our 'Whatever Happened to the World's Fastest Man' comic is out you'll know what we're after ... but that won't be until next year ..." DAVE WEST - ACCENT UK

Shame really cause I was getting some really good feedback on this script as well.
