This Week... My first Gig

We’ll I’ve got my first paid Comic Book gig… nope not as a Writer… guess again… Artist? Howay you seen me draw?!?

No the gig I got is as a Lettering monkey. I’ve been starting to get into lettering because of my own work and hopefully will have my own first comic [The legend known as…] lettered soon by my own fair hand.

Anyway back to the gig. I can’t say much as I’m sworn to secrecy for the moment. But I have to supply the lettering to six completed pages that have been done by Brian Gorman whose work you can see in our Unico Collections, Borderliners, and Accent UK’s ‘Western’.

Those 6 pages will then go off to the un-named company (no idea why I need to keep this on the low down by hey ho) and then if accepted it will lead to a full time run and then to money come flooding with the lettering work. I’m expecting £250,000 in my first month… HA! I wish… but hopefully it will pay for a few rounds of beer etc.
